I have had my pill out for a few weeks now and all I can say is WOW! Car shifts so much more consistently and my 2nd and 3rd gear notchiness is totally gone, even with the cooler weather. It is really great not having to double clutch the tranny when it is cold anymore.

It helps to save your clutch tahts for sure and its logic reasoning behind it as well. No problems as long as you are reving to 6k and dumping the clutch.

Has anyone with the restrictor pill removed go in for warranty clutch work? Any problems with the warranty being voided?

Unless they open the slave cylinder and see the missing restrictor, they won't know. Clutch is not warrantied anyways...

Chances are they wouldn't notice this anyway . I can't imagine the tech getting on the phone with Mitsubishi and saying "Please void Mr.Smith's (insert VIN here) warrant because he's missing a spring"

And as stated above, chances are the clutch wouldn't be warrantied if a problem did arrise.

had a bmw 335i and it had the "Clutch Delay Valve" same thing as the "restrictor pill" ... Once I removed it from the 335i, like everyone said, clutch is so much better, and there is really no issues, I drove agressive and the clutch engagement was much better ! Now I am thinking about doing this to the EVO X

Any ideas on average how long it takes to remove the restrictor pill ? is it a easy DIY ?

Relatively easy DIY, takes like 30 minutes to one hour max to do.

Try rebleeding again. This may solve your problem.
