Found this on another site, GL

2G (95-99) 2.0L 4G63 Turbo engine
Compression ratio 8.5:1
Standard compression 178 psi
Service limit 133 psi

But my prediction for the 4B11T is that the compression should be about the same, and between 140-170PSI

Straight from the service manual:

Standard value (at engine speed of 200 r/min): 1,090 kPa (158 psi)
Limit (at engine speed of 200 r/min): Minimum 650 kPa (95 psi)

this engine is simply put it TOAST. when have any of you seen a evo with compression results that low. never. not the old evo's or new. i say ringlands with my experience. time to spend big bcks. bet you wish it was a 4g63

Or he only cranked it once or twice per cylinder...

You notice any engine running at 95 psi on each cylinder. A 4B11T would barely run in a condition like that...

Why would he wish it were a 4G63? I'm not following your circular logic.

Something was definitely wrong with my motor, but the compression showed 150s across the board and the leakdown was perfect.

I would say re-test and see if the results are the same...but 95s can't be good...

In for updates. I hope you get this figured out man. 95 seems very low. If you run the motor and try it again, does the psi stay the same?
