Well sounds like your clutch isn't engaging for one reason or another. If you are 100% positive that your clutch master is ok I think you are going to have to drop your tranny and have a look around and see what came undone.

Your car is physically going into gear. The reason why it is shutting off is because the clutch isn't being engaged.

Just like BigHec mentioned, if you're absolutley sure your clutch master cyl, line, hose, slave cyl, and fork operation are ok, then it's time to pull the trans and look at tob and clutch to find your issue.

I had a similar problem. Mine goes into every gear but third when clutch is pressed. When I shift without the clutch is goes in like butter. I adjusted the pedal and it helped alot but not 100%. try adjusting you pedal

If your master or slave cylinder need to be replaced your clutch pedal will drop to the floor and won't pop back up. That's assuming pressure is lost in the assembly.

That's assuming complete failure of either assembly. Not to sure what the symptoms would be on the assembly if they were on their way out.

From everything I've read I'd guess it's an issue with the clutch or tob.

Well.. I just took out the clutch today, first pressure plate looked fine. Then I unbolted the pressure plate and guess what.. clutch disc was stuck on the flywheel, I actually had to pry it with a screwdriver. I've had a talk with ACT already and I'm shipping it tomorrow for them to inspect it.

I think I'm gonna go with Exedy after what youve just gone through, at least you figured out whats wrong and it was costly to fix.

Well, so far they have gave me good customer service and is going to inspect it for me. I'll have to ship it out and see what they say. Hopefully they will warranty it for me though.

I think you're saying it backwards. The clutch isn't DISengaging. Thus why it won't go into gear when engine is running, but works fine when it's off.
