new turbo , please help

new turbo , please help

ok guys here is what i have injen upper ip, turbo back ex minus the downpipe it is stock, cob ap, and injen ram air intake i want a new turbo to add around 400+ hp what else would i need to purchase to ensure the turbo runs well and the car does not explode. all comments will be appreciated

Might I suggest a boost gauge and afr gauge such an AEM UEGO. I would do these before any major turbo upgrade. Hell, I'm thinking of getting these as my first upgrade. If you can't see what's going on in real time, it's riding blind IMHO.

definitely a wideband (w/AFR gauge), downpipe and ex mani would help, and might i suggest looking into some intercooler piping?

I would go with the fp green ported....upgraded injectors and fuel pump and head studs to turn up the boost safely, also i would swap that stock downpipe with a full 3 inch unit.

that sounds good i think what i wanna do is boost gauge, afr gauge, some kind of turbo kit fp green and intercooler fuel pump and injectors and obviously a turbo kit. with the parts that i am thinking about getting are there any suggestions as to what brands i should go for, and also some insight on if that is all i would need with those upgrades to make my car a bad *** street evo. thanks guys more input is much appreciated.

e85 and a good tune will put you around 350/360 for much less.*cheers* budget builder saves some coin*cheers*

first thing to do is build your motor then trans and transfer case.and then the rest is up to you if you got the scrill then it shouldent be hard..

i only want up to 400 or so any more and the car wont be much of a daily driver in the summer time so should i go with the turbo, turbo kit and fuel pump, injectors intercooler, and afr,and boost gauge. would that be enough to get what i want and still have the car run fine

clutch and master cylinder. I would not upgrade the turbo without doing the down pipe.
