Holset on evo x

Question everyone is always talking about turbo lag, but wanting to make big power at low rpm. Would a holse hx35 work on the 4b11 and if it did wouldnt it be nasty. 550 horsepower capability at 4000 rpms. I know this may sound stupid but why arnt we talking about this posibility. Obviously I would get a new one if i were to try this. Also it would be great as i have a mr.

There's no reason why it wouldn't work, as long as you had an external wastegate. I dunno about 550HP@4k rpm. That sounds a bit unrealistic.

The only concern I would have is the lag; this turbo is very popular among the r25 crowd, and they've got an extra 0.5L of displacement, and 2 more cylinders.

And I wouldn't be afraid to buy used. Part of the reason for buying a Holset is because it's cheap. Buy used and get a rebuild kit.

Its pretty popular in the DSM croud. Doesnt really seem worht it though since no one makes an adapter plate for the X. I would just go with a FP black. or 35r for the price you would pay for machine work.

I was typing fast, but thanks for the advice. I guess you didn't get any of the questions I was asking. You must be pretty bored just to pick that one word out of the whole paragraph. Are you a English teacher??
