You may find better help in the Engine / Power forum,

It will be MUCH easier to wrap before you install vs trying to do it once the parts are in.

Is your real question(s) "Is it worth wrapping the header and DP? What are the benefits?"

thermal wrapping is designed to reduce ambient temps by not allowing as much of the heat to escape the parts as it passes through the system, which in turn theoretically increases passing exhaust velocity.

What kind of other mods are you running? which turbo? do you feel the need to wrap these parts or is it more of a show thing? this might help.

You could wrap it or powder coat it in a HTC.

For the header its always beneficial. Anytime you can keep heat in your engine bay lower its beneficial. Even having the downpipe done the same would be beneficial.
