Got a 2008 EVO X MR recently. Its completely stock.

Question:
When I am driving it on automatic normal mode, when it shifts from 2 to 1 I can hear clutch engagement. Want to know if its normal to hear it or there is something wrong. This happens irrespective if transmission is hot or cold.

 

Normal.

 

I have a 2011 MR and my car has made that same sound from day one.
