I'm torn between a FMIC kit or injectors/fuel pump. I have intake, TBE exhaust, and a Cobb AP. I'll be picking up a boost controller too.

You have no need for a pump or injectors with that mod list.

i would think stock injectors and stock pump will handle E85 on your mod list. You would just have to retune on the new fuel.

Stock injectors will run out of IDC pretty quickly on E85

on his mods, he won't really be pushing enough power to run out.

Agreed. I guess I was trying to say it doesn't leave much headroom for future plans. I've always believed in the "buy once" frame of mind.

you are correct there, I believe he is toying with an FMIC upgrade or pump and injectors. At this point I'd say money would be better spent on the FMIC instead of new injectors and pump as the gains would be minimal at this stage.

Definitely agree with that. I live in hot *** Texas and saw large gains with an FMIC.

lol. If you want to make power for your money, get the pump, injectors and tune it for e85. It'll cost a little more, but even I don't doubt e85.

Cobb has an OTS e85 map for that setup already Price for either route is nearly the same

Can get an ETS kit for the price of an AMS FMIC a la carte.
