I m running dual port turbosmart bov, it makes a really nice swoosh sounds, but it's too loud and didn't pass the wife test. Is anyway to make the sound quieter, I mean as close to stock as possible? I m not looking to put the stocker back on. Anything I can do on the turbosmart to make it quiet?

 

can't your wife get her own car? Lol no jk but in all honesty there isn't a way. Is it vent to atmosphere right now? If you make it recirc that should quiet it down quite abit. But if you want quiet I think you got the wrong bov lol :/

 

my wife is a trouble woman if she find out i modded my car again.
i had promise her to save money for a new house.

but long story short, i am running 50/50 vent to atmosphere. i am thinking if i should buy the works bov to replace the turbosmart.
i tried full recirc, but i know she will still notices the differences

 

Well I have same BOV and running 50/50 is way louder than running full rec. If your wife gets mad when you spend money on your car wouldn't she be even more pissed if you buy another BOV?

 

I am running full rec now, it sounds so much quiet than runing 50/50.
