I bought it on June 30th, 2014. I was really enjoying the car . Having fun doing all the things that you have at your fingertips in an MR.
Then all of a sudden it starts making this loud noise and jerking sensation upon turning off the engine. Now it does it every time I turn the car off.
It's at the dealership at the moment. Thank God I bought a Mega warranty.
But this still sucks. I really didn't know that there were so many problems with the SST.
Anyone ever experienced this? I could use some help.

Will hear from them today. Let you know what he says. He did say it was probably the transmission. I did mostly know that it was.

 

Do you've mods in your car? change your sst fluid yet

 

I just bought the car from the dealership one month ago today. I asked him all those questions right off the bat and he said we checked all that when we went through it initially.

It has no mods that I am aware of.

 

Talked to service department.

Ordering NEW TRANSMISSION.

The car has 37k miles on it.

So the new transmission arrived today at 2:30 and I will probably have my car back by tomorrow.

That is effing incredible.

In one week the Dealership went from diagnosis of the problem (Needs New Transmission) to ordering it, receiving it and installing it and picking it up.

It will be incredible if this actually happens.

I would say it's a minor miracle. And Kudos to Capital Mitsubishi in San Jose CA

So I got the car back last night and it is perfect

Cost 12000.00.

My cost NOTHING. ZERO.

I know the SST is not cheap, but $12,000 ?!? Dang!

 

1 happy customer out of 100... It is unheard of to hear this good service from capitol. If ur on FB on bay area evo group, most of the guys avoid them as much as possible. Good to hear someone had positive feedback with them.. Enjoy your car.
