ASC & 4WD Service Required

I done a lot of research and what not throughout different forums. If anyone could assist me in this issue as I know everyone's situation may be different, I had to ask here for advice.

Clutch went out so I had to swap it out for a new one. I'm on a stock brand new flywheel and 6 Puck clutch.

We were doing this in my Garage and decided to not go through with the "Hollywood" method of not dropping the Sub-Frame.. We did drop the sub-frame.

This is where some problems arise. So we turn the key to "On" after the install and apparently I broke my clockspring. Steering Controls were down. The dash also came up with "ASC Service Required" as well as "4WD Service Required".

Went to Mitsubishi to order a new clockspring and installed it yesterday. Controls came back but the ASC and 4WD persists. No ABS Lights - so we know it isn't the ACD Pump or Wheel Speed Sensors?

From doing research on here and other forums, it kind of points to either an alignment issue & steering angle sensor. I want to know if this may be on the right track. I am scheduled for an Alignment and Calibration of the Angle Sensor at the Dealership this Friday. I would hope not to pay for Diagnostics incase this isn't the issue and just have them go directly and fix the source if possible.

From what I know, I have boiled it down to the Two, however I still need some input from people here experienced in this. Would like to save myself some grief when I get there and they run diagnostics and tell me something else is up when it really isnt. And in Hawaii, we have ONLY 1 dealership, do you know the deal!
Don't wanna get railed by the dealer; knowledge is power, and knowledge about this is something I would love to have at my disposal incase they say otherwise.

Thanks!

Did you bleed the AYC/ACD system since you replaced the clutch. That usually means it needs to be bleed then.

Same issue when we did clutch on mine. Steering angle recal and bleeding the ACD fixed it.

Thanks for the input!

We tried to Bleed it, I think it looked good. But it wasn't done initially until I told the Mechanic it could be an issue.

I had a friend pull the codes for me,

If anyone has more information / details on what exactly could this be, just incase it might be something else.

C1219 Steering Angle Sensor
C2205 SAS Internal Error

Thanks!

I need help! I just got my fenders rolled on my Evo X and I lowered it on blitz coilovers. About 10 miles after leaving the shop my Asc service light came on as well as my 4wd service light. I also pulled the codes and c1219 came back. Issue with the steering wheel sensor. The guy that rolled my fenders said my tires are a bit big and it is causing the tires to rub in the fenders. Is this a huge issue what do I need to do?
Thanks for your help!

You probably should visit the dealer to recalibrate the steering angle sensor. Something is off that the ECU doesn't like. From what I can tell, you need a MUT to recalibrate it. Make sure you let the dealer know if you replaced the clock spring.

OP: IIRC, there are instructions printed on the clock spring assembly on how to get it set properly before installation. Could be you just need take it back off and get it set correctly to resolve your issue.
