EVO X MR vs GSR transfer case

a towing company destroyed my entire drivetrain and now im looking to buy a Transfer case for a GSR.

Thing is, most of the ones i get offered are from 6speed MR's.

Im wondering if MR's and GSR's have any difference in transfer cases, because someone is selling an MR T case with 24k miles for 1100. I just want to know if There are complications on using this T case or if it bolts right on with no problems.

Thanks guys

*****P.S.***** I cant seem to post on Part outs, WTB and For sale threads. I dont know what i did, but if anyone knows an admin, id like to know why im unable to do it, or what i did that got me disabled from posting.

I have not seen them myself but I hear they have different splines. Not sure if that's where they attach to drive shaft or transmission but I've read it's not possible to swap out the splines. Or at least not practical.

the splines on the "egg" that houses the front diff are definitely different.
it would require pretty much a complete tear down to swap this piece from one case to the next.

Yes, when they listed it they probably just made the mistake of not putting 08-15. I've made that mistake listing parts too as I have a 14 GSR.
