Oil leak....help!
I moved my car out of the garage today and noticed oil on the ground. So I jacked the car up and saw oil sprayed all over the underside. I'm assuming it's coming from a pressurized hose or fitting. Can anyone tell me where it is leaking from?

Yeah it's definitely the passenger side inner cv joint. However I have an oil leak from the oil drain plug, I ordered a few crush washers so hopefully that will take care of that.

I see this a lot on the X's, more so than the 8/9's. You can get a boot kit and have a driveline shop replace the boot. I would do both axles, the other is like leaking too. And if it isn't, it will be soon. If you buy the crimp pliers, they're fairly easy to rebuild yourself. Here is the boot kit you need. You'll need two to do both axles.

Yeah that looks like CV grease. I mean, it's not uncommon at all for these to leak Could be as simple as needing a new clamp. If not, you need a clamp/boot kit. I changed all my clamps on the front axles over the winter when I had it all apart. All of mine were leaking.
