Precision 6262 turbo

hello everybody! I'm fairly new to turbo cars but still want to upgrade my turbo. After doing some research I decided I want to go the 6262 route. I found a lightly used turbo for sale in my area and want to know if it will fit onto my car. Below is a list of current mods on the car and also the add for the turbo. Any help appreciated thank you!

Honestly i wouldnt buy a precision turbo especially used. Theres many horror stories of them failing nearly new. Some people have success with precision but the bad stories almost out weigh the good ones.

If i were you id stay stock frame Garret Gtx series stock location turbo.

Theres many to chose from depending on hp goal.

Also forced performance. Like a fp black vs a 6262

I second the do not buy it used.

You also will need a new exhaust manifold, custom downpipe, external wastegate, new intake, feed/return lines, etc.

Nothing wrong with PTE. However, that turbo doesn't even have a vband discharge, I wouldn't buy it. I also wouldn't buy a 6262. Do a Gen2 5558, 5858, or a Gen2 6266.

Keep in mind you are stock block. Head upgraded yes, but stock block. I can also take a wild guess that your COBB tuned. If your thinking of going E85 then the 1st order of business would be to get an ethanol sensor and switch to opensource tune so you can sell your accessport. Then the real question is how close to *busted block* are you willing to gamble. For me I stopped at 330ft-lb to the wheels (SST trans). Anything more and I just don't feel lucky. How lucky do you feel ?
If your thinking 6262 then I think you feel very lucky!

Its open source tune and I already have dual maps for pump and e85(and obviously e85 supporting mods). The main thing I got was that it's safer to build block first then go for turbo. Currently its tuned at 382ft-lb to the wheels.
