p0171 and burnt clutch

So I was accelerating on the on ramp and I believe I finally killed my clutch 76k on the stocker. I can smell burnt metal while driving and I'm pretty sure it's the clutch but I'm also getting a P0171 code, how is that related to the clutch? I was on 5th And the rpm shot up and I thought I was on neutral.

Well clutch is a goner for sure. P0171 is not related to your clutch issue. Tell us a little about your car...tuned? ..... mods

Mods are full bolt on gtx3576r, flex fuel, 2000 injectors, and dual pump. I've haven't had any issues til now.

If you had an AFR gauge it would show if you are running lean. P0171 is system running too lean in bank 1. Some suspects are a dirty MAF, vacuum leaks and exhaust leaks. If these all look good through inspection then I would seek out a good tuner in your area for help.
