Mitsubishi SAE90 LSD oil discontinued
As many Evo owners have probably learned recently, Mitsubishi had to stop selling the LSD90 oil due to toxicity levels exceeding EPA standards. Because of this we now offer Motul 90 PA as a direct replacement. We have this in stock for immediate shipment.

The recommendation of redline comes from another reputable shop.
This motul seems like a good option for a stockish car, an OEM replacement fluid closer to the OEM fluid price point, as opposed to an improvement. Would be interesting to see it's EP additive levels.

So what you're saying is that the Motul fluid is exactly what Jacks is saying it is then.

lol why does static have such an axe to grind...
people should use whatever they feel most comfortable with. i've never heard of a diff failing because of using one oil vs another, except some speculation with amsoil severe gear, but even then i'm hesitant to blame it on the oil

We use Redline in the non-acd units without issue. Mineral oil does a great job at lubricating though. with our experience with Motul this would protect better than factory.
kyoo, type of oil can make a difference in certain applications but with the t-case the big this is making sure its correctly filled. more t-cases die from lack of oil than anything else...
