Update...
Engine should be assembled for the weekend. Have a trip to go on, so I'll be getting the car together sometime next week. The turbo kit should be finished by then, so off to CBRD at that point for the fuel system and tuning!

Car is headed to CBRD now that the engine is back and assembled finally. Some setbacks on everybody's end slowed down the build completion time by awhile. Here's some pics of hardware for the build.

Use Total Seal rings, http://www.totalseal.com/
I just used these on my new engine and during 800 miles of break-in and then 800 miles after dyno tune of hard driving to 8500 rpm frequently, I haven't consumed any oil.
Also, I recommend you WPC treat the bearings, http://www.wpctreatment.com/about.htm

Update: Car is headed off to CBRD for kit install and tuning! Probably a few more weeks, but I'm optimistic the process won't take forever since it looks like the guys up there have the X down to a precision science .

UPDATE: Car has been at CBRD since July 27th, just crested over a calendar month there and is not finished. My hope is that the car is done in the next two weeks. April 25th is when the motor was pulled. Build time was supposed to be four to six weeks including both the engine built and the turbo kit made, installed, and tuned. We're at 16 weeks or so and the car isn't completed. Things happen, and with performance things unfortunately this stuff is "expected." However, just a word to anyone thinking about going this route. This is with all payments up front, no need for the car, hand delivering the vehicle and the engine to the respective parties, etc.
Now, I think I picked the best in the biz for EVO's for both the engine build and turbo kit, just dreadful waiting in anticipation for completion.

He told you 4-6 weeks? He was lying unless he had literally not other work.

Anxiety more than anything because I know it will be worth it!

Not lying, but optimistic? Sure, lol. Luckily I was inured to the point I couldn't drive a manual up until last week so it wouldn't have mattered much anyway. No complaints overall, just anxious. Communication has been good, honest, and straightforward. Quality isn't a question, and neither is power once finished so I'll continue waiting hoping I get her back soon!

Update:
Got the car back for break in miles!
The kit is well put together, and it's easy to tell there's a level of attention to detail in installation that I can appreciate.
On low boost pump gas, the car made just north of 400whp. We will see what happens after we take it back and turn the boost up!

I'm looking forward to it as well, hoping on pump to be high 500's at 28 pounds, and 600's on E.
I'll post dyno sheets!
