To AMS cold air intake or not to AMS cold air intake

Who else makes a cold air intake that pull air from behind the fog light like the AMS cold air intake (p/n:AMS.04.08.000)?
While on the topic, who would prefer the AEM cold air intake (p/n:21-678C) with factory snorkel?

My preferred intakes are the ETS, or the STM with the big bellmouth inlet on it. They both come with a heat shield, so you don't get wonky AFR's when the cooling fan comes on.

I’ve checked out those style of air intakes and don’t like how they’re pulling in hot air.

They're really not though, the Evo engine bay is very well ventilated when moving. With an appropriate intercooler, intake air temps are never an issue.. That's what the intercooler is for..

You'll really hate the AMS cold air when you go through a puddle and it takes out your engine. Or the AEM when you find out it limits power output.
