looks good, dang i didn't know the spare tire and bolts weighed that much.
i like it when i see an after market part that adds power and loses weight.

Illrunya Feb 29, 2008 11:12 AM

CtSilver03Evo Feb 29, 2008 11:42 AM

Well realistically hes not taking all that weight off since parts do have to be put back on. Shaves a few pounds here and there

Awesome list, thats some pretty sweet and easy weight saving mods...

Ahh.. just cross-referenced stock/aftermarket parts. You're right. They're still shaving close to 150Lbs though I think. Not too shabby.

Can't count the FMIC and IC Pipe as there was no weight given for there replacements so it works out to around 114lbs saved.

BCNeil Feb 29, 2008 01:47 PM

Any ballpark figures, for the weight of the BR FMIC?

David Buschur Feb 29, 2008 02:01 PM

The savings is much smaller than you guys are coming up with. The aftermarket parts have to be subtracted from the stock parts.

Very informative post, thank you{thumbup} I still get about 109lbs even adding your parts back in, minus whatever your intercooler weighs.

David Buschur Feb 29, 2008 07:29 PM

This is going to be a tough car to get very light without cutting it up. It really needs some weight taken out of it.

Our FMIC core is going to be heavy. I am using a large core in the car and should have it in there next week.

Can we get a sticky with this information saved please?

David Buschur Mar 2, 2008 09:26 AM

It's a sticky on our site PDX, www.buschurracing.com Just go to the forums and then to the EVO X section.
