MR's twin clutch vs. GT-R's
After 2000+ miles on the MR, I absolutely love the transmission. The normal mode is perfect for day to day driving and it is so easy to go into Sport mode which is perfect if I wanna play a little, and then the S Sport for the track. Well, even the Sport mode is so perfect in holding as low a gear as possible for street driving, there's really no need for S Sport unless for track work.
But how does the MR's trans compare to the GT-R's? Is there any comparison out yet? I read that the GT-R's is pretty clunky but does it have different shift modes and wonder if the MR's trans has better programming. |
You'll probably want to relocate this topic over to the EvoX Engine/Turbo/Drivetrain forum. It's not that we don't appreciate your company, however, you may just get a better response over there. Incidentally, we don't have "modes" on the I-IX trannies, just 5-spd. manual, or 6-spd. manual. Although, the JDM Evo station wagons are equipped with AT's. But, that's a different story.
