Do you have FAST key system? Any issues, and how about a write up if you dont mind. Thanks. I like the place you put it at. Very clean.

Man... the stocker boot/knob are fugly as hell, glad I changed mine  anyway; nice timer, like the others said I also like where you placed it. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the X didn't really need a timer because of the "after-run" feature?if it even exists (noob here)??what would be the advantage of having one?

J5isalive2 Oct 17, 2008 09:40 AM

afterrun feature does not circulate the oil.... the engine isn't on, all that is happening is a fan comes on.

But a turbo timer isn't really needed... the last minute of your drive just drive the car easy.

ilive2win Oct 17, 2008 11:26 AM

but i track the car A LOT so im not just going to drive it easy my last lap, so i put one in so it can cool down properly after i track the car

yes i have the SSS package and the door will not lock if the car is running, but i really only use the timer when im tracking the car or anytime i run harder than usual

J5isalive2 Oct 17, 2008 12:43 PM

one of the most important parts of tracking a car is the cool down lap... clearly you missed that part of class. Its all good though, cause i'm sure when you track a car the only thing that needs to cool down properly is the engine oil
