Replacing Fuel Pump & Injectors with FULL BOLT-ON's

I am debating whether to invest money into getting new injectors and a fuel pump for the EVO X before I go for a ProTune at CBRD Speedfactory.

I know the stock 650CC injectors and fuel pump are about good to 350whp (depending on dyno reading high or low).

So I was debating would it be worth to repalce the stock fuel pump with a Walboro pump and replacing the injectors with 800cc drop in ones? Would it make a significant difference, or would I be better of upgrading the fuel system when I upgrade the turbo to a DomII or FPRed?

Thanks for all the replies and interest.

you're gonna be close. I'm similarly modded and we're hitting 95-96% IDC.

Your gonna be right around max duty on your stock injectors with the mods you listed. With similar mods I was at 96% duty on my stock injectors.

I think you should be fine waiting till you upgrade your turbo, but if you feel like money is burning a hole in your pocket it wouldn't be a bad place to put the cash!

I would say, upgrade the injectors and leave the pump and rail stock.
In my tune with stock turbo the injectors were maxed out after 6.5K-ish rpm (100%DC), so there was drop in power curve, although peak power was around 350 whp. With larger injectors you could have some more top end power to the extent that stock turbo will allow.

Hmm. Thank you for all the replies.

Yeah, I was figuring it would be towards the end of the max duty cycle for the stock injectors. It will all depend on my income and funding over the next month. I think it would be beneficial, however maybe not necessary.

Does anyone know who makes drop in fuel pumps for the EVO X? IIRC, UR did have a drop in. Are there any other companies?
