Car's engine shuts down by itself in few seconds
 

It happens sometime but not very often. Yesterday it happened again. After I turned on the engine, I can hear the engine rev itself 3 times (from 500rpms to 1500 rpms, and then went back to 500rpms, etc.), and then the engine just shut down by itself. I turned on it again, and it was fine. What happen to my car?

Hey man you need the factory reflash. It happened to me a couple times too when I first bought my car.

Do you have an MR by chance? Because the way the gearbox works it does not shut off exactly when you turn off the key but keeps the engine running a few seconds to move the clutches around so they won't be engaged next time you start the car.

I have all the reflashes and my car will do this sometimes as well. Usually when I drive somewhere and shut the car off for a little while. Then when I start it up to leave, it will rev and few times and choke out. Not always shutting off. It recovers most of the time.
