Any special bleeding prodecure when R&R'ing evo X rear end?????
Does anyone know if there is any special bleeding procedure when R&R'ing a Rear end from an Evo X ?? I'm wondering if the AYC needs some special attention?
I sold a Rear end to someone out of an evo X with 6200 miles. The car was stock besides coilovers, rims, intake and an intercooler. The car ran and drove perfect, never was launched or tracked at all. The rear end is removed from the car and then sold. The purchaser puts the Rear end in the car and gets on a hwy. He says the rear end locked up and the car spun around. This was within probably 5-15 miles of installing the rear end.
Now I know for 10000000% fact the rear came out of a perfectly running and driving car. So to imagine that cr with only 6200 miles on it was destined to have the rear lockup within 15 miles of when the rear was removed is just too much coincidence for me to believe. The person who bought it claims to drained whatever remaining fluids were in the rear and reinstall new fluid, but something doesnt sound right.
I'm not some newbie on here or someone that came to move a quick and i think my feedback can vouch for me since 99% of it is from buyers. Any ideas?
