Transfer shaft removal - it's stuck!
 

In the middle of changing the clutch in my X and am having trouble removing the shaft between gearbox and transfer.

I'm using a slide hammer as per the previous 20 times I've done this on previous evo's but this one just won't budge!

Any suggestions?

I'm guessing the inner clip is sitting slightly out of the groove and stopping it from moving.

Get a bigger slide hammer? There should be nothing special about removing it, make sure there's no tension coming from the other side or anything...just yank yank yank.

I used a puller to get mine out and it worked perfect
