I've searched and still searching but could use opinion on new clutch please and thx

I've done a lot of searching and i'm honestly STILL researching daily but I wanted to ask some of the experts on here for your opinions. With the clutch showing slipping under boost, (car at 55K miles) it's about time to replace.

my car only has test pipe, grimmspeed ebcs, v2 quiet, id1000, walbro255, ets intake, ets uicp tuned @ boostin performance on an accessport with dual map tune 93. E85 map is what I usually run 337whp/353tq on their mustang.

Need a clutch that can handle WOT full boost every day with occasional weekend launches.

I'm suprised Boostin recommended the Comp Clutch stage 3. From my reviews people like it but it seems to have a short lifespan around 10K. Which to me seems pretty short.

A 2jz friend recommended looking out southbend clutches. But i'm not finding much info about them.

Otherwise it's between what boostin recommended: Comp Clutch stage 3 or ACT HDSS?

From my searches I see a lot of people review right when they get the clutch installed and then never report back in on the long term review.

Any recommendations, opinions or peoples reviews would be appreciated!!! :mitsu:

South Bend Clutches are excellent clutches. I personally have the competition stage 2 and would recommend that for daily driving. The big question is what type of driving do you do? Are you a drag racer or into autocross/road courses, or just a spirited street driver?

very "spirited" street driver, With occasional few launches throughout the year :)

Wanted to visit the drag strip at least once this upcoming year.

Act HDSS, Comp stage 2 or 3. No reason for any more clutch than that. The comp stage 3 will hole up better to launches since it has a cerametallic friction material. Ie installed all 3 in customer Evo X's, and they're all very good clutches. Good feel, not overly grabby.
