I wonder how many people will be looking at the not-so-useful and rather distracting blinking lights

as opposed to looking at the road during cornering....

Seriously, how is that information (even if you are able to somehow analyze it while taking a corner) going to help you? I think it is a total waste, pointless and a distraction.

Lets put in a place holder thread for "I crashed my X while looking at the center gauge flashing LED's"

well its probably there like how all those aux. screens are in the gt-r - pretty cool to have the first few times but probably just eye candy....looks like it can be switched for other displays anyways

What does the center column signify on the SAWC display? I assume the left and right curves signify the amount of extra torque going to the outside wheel..

I'd be surprised if there wasn't SOME reason for having it, because it would be dumb if it just displayed your relative yaw rate...

just guessing here but potentially it will show how the S-AWC system is working, perhaps nothing to look at when all is well, but it might actually show and system component failure, then i dont know about you, but i would find it useful

Means you're not pushing your car hard enough around corners. Try making a sharp turn and stomp on the gas pedal.

A bump? i think you may be confused as to what it shows... if it is jumping when you start the car then you know the sensors are active. try taking a "sharper" turn. cause your obviously not pushing the car. better yet... find an empty parking lot... lock the wheel to one a direction and pound the gas... you will def. see it work then.
