Edmunds and a Mitsubishi PR guy came down to the Long Beach meet last night
guess what they brought?? hookers!! oh, and the new X, GSR and MR, and the new Sti followed, unfortunately. haha
sitting in both, i pick the MR X for comfyness. it's not that advanced and luxury as some make it out to seem. still basic AC knobs and all, just more advanced looking
steering wheel also has loads of buttons for ACD and other stuff.
Best part of the night by far, was when talking about the X, previous evos, and its heritage, was when the Mitsu PR guy said "the IX was mitsubishi's last true race car"
i blushed. hahaha

I like the Evo IX better, but I'm getting a 335i instead of a Evo X.

Did they let you take them for a spin? I would have held them at gunpoint until they agreed to do that.

 

It looks almost identical except for the fact that it isn't as tall. I think it's the same wing they put on the GTS.

 

You are right. I guess I was looking for shape difference, and assuming the difference in height was due to different camera angle. Now that I looked closer, that was not an illusion, they really are different heights. I actually kind of prefer the shorter wing. If it doesn't make a LOT of functional difference at high speed, I would get that one given the choice.

We all knew that, although some are still in denial mode.
IMO they should have called this thing "ralliart lancer" and put the legendary evolution name to a well deserved rest. Maybe I had too high expectations of the upcoming car.

 

Yup you're right, its the one from the GTS. Is that standard or is it added as an accessory? I always thought the X GSR came with no wing at all. Different rim's too from the looks of it, Enkei's I think.
