HID Projector Headlights on EVO X

The stock HID's are the only way to go compared to modifying the Halogen projectors which are standard without the SSS option package. The SSS option package includes Low Beam HID with manual leveling (not sure how the manual leveling works till I get my car very soon). If you want HID headlights on your X, buy the SSS option package. Asian made Retrofit HID kits are JUNK. Don't waste your time.

I am going to add HID driving lights down next to the fogs or replace the fogs. I will end up with 4 HID's on my car. We don't really need fogs much here in Utah, I will decide when I figure out what is going to work best.

I will install our 50 watt HID's in the auxiliary new driving lights. We currently make these for aircraft and mounted on 50 caliber machine guns. Factory HID is 35watt 3200 lumens our 50 watt lights produce 5300 lumens.

This will be great for seeing deer etc. way off when out on the open road and no oncoming cars to blind.

The manual leveling is nothing more than a dash mounted thumb switch. I am sure it is similar to the one on the VIII & IX's. If it is the same, the switch allows you to adjust the height of the low beam HID projectors to counter a weighted down rear-end.

Thats what I figured it was when they said "manual".
