We have the factory Aero Kit on our X, and you arent even close to stepping on the side skirts. Its not an issue at all.

Also, unless you have seen the cars in person, stock vs. Kitted, you dont really appreciate the difference. Anyone in the Long Island Area is welcome to come take a look for themselves.

LOL... hadn't thought I'd be a nit-picker on my first post. Been considering an Evo X and the new STi to replace my aging 02 WRX wagon so I've been lurking here for a bit.

Actually you picked the wrong car as your "Non Aero", go find a Lada pic or
something.

My parents owned a SAAB 99 (a '78 if I remember correctly) and I remember one day my mother (the rally driver of the family) deliberately trying to get the car airborne over the rises at my request... she couldn't because the body produces way too much downforce... SAAB was way ahead of it's time as far as aerodynamics.... A lot of their aero research from building fighter planes trickled into their cars.

BTW... She had no problem getting the Renault rally car airborne at the same (and lower) speeds over the same crests.

A Lada would definitely trump the car I picked out!
