To buy or not to buy, MR

I was doing some thinking. MR gonna cost mid 40s fully loaded and possibly close to 50.

For that money and a little more, I could go for the new Cadillac CTS-V, M3, or w/e other mid price performance sedans. Besides, Evo got nothing special too it except it's handling... All these other cars are the whole package.

Let me know what you guys think. Thanks

Dont waste your money on the MR, unless you dont want to drive a stick. Spend some of the money you'll save on mods.

I read about the new CTV-S and it is freaking scary:550hp, optional recaro seats, brembo brakes and fast as hell, not bad at all. I have seen the road test of the MR and just like they did on the Evo 8 MR comparo itsn't really much better, the difetrence in performance is minimal.

At the end I would take any of the 3 cars though because the 3 cars are bad a$$.

Oh yeah, those other cars you mentioned (CTS-V and M3) are MUCH more expensive. It's not a logical step.

I never remember prior EVO's pulling a 1.01 g skid? Last I heard the EVO X was still a religious experience! The CTS has a 60k price tag from the magazines I've read. There's NO WAY a loaded MR will be near 50! Unless there's negative equity or dealer mark ups involved. Drive each of the cars and decide, I personally would only consider the X!!!

That is why I think the GS-R is a better deal. Though that is just my opinion, not trying to start another pissing contest on that stuff again here.

I doubt the Evolution X MR full loaded will be $50,000. My dealership in my area are projected $45,000 @ most (w/o mark-ups). I think the X will out handle the CTS-V and M3.

If history repeats itself, I'll just wait for the X SE, with the best of the GSR and MR combined

But man, that TC-SST is kind of neat...
