Its not bad other than you dont have any traction control while that light is on.

I had an issue with mine but it was due to a faulty steering sensor. My car seemed a little quicker with the ASC off due to the traction control not interfering when the tires start to slip, but I still took it to the dealer to get checked out (just incase I do want to use it at somepoint...LOL )

If you do a search there are lots of threads with info on the S-AWC / ASC lights and Service required lights with those systems.

I've also just installed exhaust and started having exactly the same issue. I've read up on the forums and ppl say that it's due to overboost. I'm gonna have my car tuned soon and I hope this will get fixed.

I have the same problem, but only when revving in neutral.
This started happening after I put on my mxp cb exhaust.

Nice vid.... definately clears things up. I heard the "off off" mode (3 sec press) still has some stability control even though it says off. Do you know of any videos of the 3 modes tarmac snow and gravel?

I recently had my buschur catback removed and went back to stock, and wouldn't you know it, my ASC light has yet to return. Now buschur and AWD motorsports(the company that removed the exhaust) say they have never heard of any issues with the light coming on from the exhaust at all, But i'm sure there are people reading these threads that know that the ASC light has come on from bolt-on mods alone (i've read people's post's about it) so surely there are some ecutek ASC light issues. Are people that die-hard about there reflash that they don't want to admit one ASC light problem? or do they not want to contribute it to their reflash? Anyways, My ASC light problem is gone(so far).
Chris, seen a few contestents debating your point. Vote 1 more for you.

Mods are pure bolt-on, ETS dual CB and UR downpipe/o2 plus high flo CC.

My first ASC service required issues though didn't hit me til about 3 wks after install when I let them "break in" before a HPDE weekend. That HPDE weekend got the beast unleashed, and I admit the rev-limiter saw its share of action. (all bone stock except the bolt on TBE and KN filter).

That weekend I got the ASC light/service required twice and SES once with limp mode. And sadly, today coming home from work on the interstate, it came on again. No braking, not 1200F rotors crying at me. Just a nice day just headin home. Oh, with gusto. I always give it gas while getting on the highway after it's warmed up for a couple of minutes. GUSTO.

I think the TBE is "too free" and flowing, and I love it. I have so much more torque at lower RPM's is crazy. No other bolt ons and tunes, but it's definitely outside the normal 'operating parameters' of 291hp stock.

What's everyone doing about theirs? I really won't give up the HP gain and noise/feedback just for freaking ASC phase 1. But is it killing the ASC phase 2 and not braking at all?

Both our ZChip and ECU Reflash service will rid you of ASC lights and CELs.
