Evo X and family (List all the Mitsubishis you've owned)
#67
To be honest i have had subaru's all my life (i'm 23). First the 2.5i, second 04wrx third and last 05 sti. Never had problems with subbies but i own an evo 8 now and had more problems in a year than i had with all three subarus since high school. Might be the fact that i bought the evo used and was probably beaten by the time i got it. So far i've replaced the headgasket, front axles, struts and remachine the head (port and polished while i was at it). That's my story, so to disappoint you all.

I beg to differ on the Mighty Max being a real truck, as my Dad owns the 1 ton version with a 2.6 4g54 power plant. Sure it's not the fastest, but I'd never buy a truck to run laps around a track or drag. As far as the Subaru vs. Mitsubishi reliability goes, I'm sure that's entirely up to the owner of the vehicle! I've seen a 98 Mitsubishi Mirage totally defiled! He bottom the vehicle out and busted the a/c unit while doing so, ripped the seats out, nailed mail boxes with the car, replaced the muffler with coffee cans, painted the dash with spray paint, removed the hood and would literally pull the e brake at 65 mph.
This kid raced time and time again but the Mirage simply would not die, to me that speaks a lot about the vehicle... If I would have done half that to my Mustang, a tow truck would have been my only transportation home!!! Which I would never ever in my wildest dreams beat on a car as this kid had done. Long story short your EVO was probably ragged on and beat down, it's not uncommon to see Endeavors with 300k miles, as well as Mighty Max's and I'm sure my X will join the high millage club with no qualms!

Ahh... I also forgot about the Diamante, which was another decent vehicle that never really caught on! The Galant ranks among the most dependable of all cars in it's class as well! I do believe the VR4 Galant won car of the year back in the mid 90's as well...

To the OP, the line up definitely looks good and I can see how so many members on this site relate to mitsubishi based on their wonderful sports car line up over the years.
