I voted "good". The only annoyances are the ones that have been previously stated already: rattles, paint chips, a battery issue that I had (had to get it serviced 3 times before they figured it out), trunk space, sagging aero kit parts, etc. Most of them are inconsequential really.
I'm glad I got the MR though, as the interior was severely lacking on the GSR, and there is the issue with the seats falling apart too (well, that staple thing).

I have voted good because all the negatives and positives pretty much level each other out.I have owned two 4 valve mustangs an ls2 GTO, civic si , 2 rsx type' s and a neon srt-4, but this car has everything I wanted all rolled into one. Its not the fastest of the cars I have owned but overall best. AWD + turbo =
I only have about 4,000 miles on mine, but I have loved everyone of them. So far it is completely stock, but I think I am getting ready for a couple basic mods. I have seen a bunch of threads where people are complaining about build quality, but I personally think that build quality is fine and I feel comfortable saying that I sacrificed a little in that area to get the performance of the Evo. If I wanted a nucer interior, I would have bought a 135i and sacrifice some in the performance department. For the price, I would not buy another car.
Leather seats, vinyl door inserts and armrests, black plastic trim that looks much better than the GSR checkered carbon trim. The improvements are subtle but make a big difference IMO.
I voted good, no car can be excellent because there will always be issues with a car....
My reasons tho is the paint in the car, somehow the quality with the interior isn't so great... Trunk mat is unacceptable, recaro seats seem cheap... Wish they would have used the ralliart tail lights on the car also... But overall I cannot complain...

After spending some money on RA flaps and VentureShield, the paint issues for me are resolved and no longer a worry. Since it is getting colder I do have the dash rattles that are pretty loud, but hey, the suspension does not help that so I understand. I get better than expected gas mileage. The seat staples bother me but I have done nothing to fix them.
I am 40 so I have never had any problems at the dealer. Maybe they don't expect me to be beating on the car. They always want to know how I got the purchase past my wife.
This will be my first winter, so I need to decide on all seasons or dedicated winters.
Even though I will still be under warranty I plan on at least a BR tune in the spring. My car does run finicky depending on weather/temp etc. which is very weird for a modern day car. I don't understand that, but it is my first turboed car, so I just assume it has to do with temps etc.
Overall, still look forward to driving every day. Love the Fosgate, love the big wing. Don't like the wheel well gaps, but doubt I lower the car....too many potholes etc. where I live.
I voted good, mainly based on the quality interior issues, rattles and I really don't like the seat and arm rest materials.

SO far so good..i bought mine this year with 9000 miles on her. GSR with SSS package. I owned an 06 Infiniti g35 coupe 6mt, before her and a 95 civic si hatch(water logged) for my beater. The X is ALOT of fun and i dont even have a tune yet, all stock. I love the power and AWD. I also like the fact that its an elite car. Not alot of em on the road where i live. I get alot of respect in the left lane.
The reasons why i didnt give it the excellent rating. Subpar gas mileage, cheap staples popping out of Recaros(not mits fault, but they put them in THEIR cars), fumbling to get the car in gear on cold days(unacceptable, my 95 civic never had this problem and my g35 either). Rockford Fosgate speakers are not worth it, never heard of a sound limiter on my speakers(love the subwoofer though). The Bose factory on the G35 puts it to shame. I have to agree with the other guy too, the dealerships around here look sub par. Ive been in Acura, Honda, and Infiniti dealerships they all put Mits to shame. Mitsubishi looks your movie type shady dealership(not taking this into my rating though). All of these reasons are minor but total up to a nuisance....i havent had the paint issues so im happy.
In my lifetime ive also owned 2 more civic hatchbacks in my younger years, a 93 Acura Legend Coupe, and a 95 Legend Coupe LS.
Overall, i love the car. I just had a baby in january and this is my first 4dr car. Best car i could find in a reasonable price range with AWD 4drs, and great performance.

i voted good even though the x is by far the ****tiest vehicle ive ever owned. this is my tenth car, 2nd turbocharged awd 4-dr. the build quality and interior just suck, it makes me wonder on the overall reliability, guess ill have to trade it in once my tracking days are over. i say good though because the performance is top notch for the money. the yaw control, excellent brakes, suspension, steering, power, SST transmission, and stiff chassis are what i really care about. its practical and comfortable too, just needs a better standard of build.
I voted good.
I think Evos in general are a good bang for the buck. Minimal modifications get you to 350tq/whp. For those of us who bought the X as a leftover, this is even more true. You can have a decent powered, sporty vehicle for around $30K and financed at 0%! As a daily driver, the X is quite livable.
The things preventing me from rating the car as excellent would be the stock tune, fit and finish, rattles, and Mitsu service.
