The finish on the MR BBS wheels will be significantly more difficult to fix, especially with a self-fix solution like that ^. Try calling your local BMW or Mercedes dealer to see if they have a mobile wheel repair station that stops by the dealer, and see if they can fix it for you.

Drive thru windows + expensive wheels = bad news.

Wait until a set for sale on this board comes around at a good price and buy them. Then you can have a scuffed set for all season tires and another pristine set.

The MR wheels will be harder to come by cheap, but I got the enkeis for my GSR cheap.

There are many shops that can fix them, guys around my area have fixed them for about $100. It all depends how bad it is. You should go to a rim shop and ask them how much they would fix it for.

You think MR BBS is bad. The IX BBS Diamond Black is a two stage paint. Still haven't found someone to fix mine.

Ouch. Definitely try and get one of those mobile wheel guys to help you out if they can, or at least let them have a look at it. I've seen those guys repair some wheels to really good shape before.

Must be a NY thing because that's what I was quoted as well.

Another option is to go to a nicer car lot, and ask who does their wheel repair. One of the local Infiniti dealerships hooked me up with a mobile repair guy who does wheels for $75/ea.

Any pictures of the curbed BBSes? How much it'll cost to repair will most likely depend on how deep the curb rash is.

And the MR BBSes are definitely not cheap to repair to begin with or replace, so it's hard to unload them (I have two BBSes that I've been trying to get rid of for months).
