Ahh crap, my first mistake of the year. Ruined my streak! I got here by using searching for "short shifter", didn't notice it dropped me into an X thread.

Me too!

I wonder how many they have to sell for the sales price to drop to that point?

Is the price so much higher than the other options because of tariffs or trade fee's?

Semi OT, but Im f***ing done with the stock bullsh*t shifter. Mine grinds, creaks, rattles and sometimes won't even go into 1st/2nd or reverse without serious maneuvering or popping the clutch a little. Absolutely absurd for a damn $36k "performance" machine. I'm done with it, I'm going to have to explore my options and the TWM SS+bushings seems like the ideal thing for me to take out some of this god awful notch crap. Ive had my fluids changed and that did little to absolutely nothing to help so this is my only real option left. I'll start saving a little side money for it I reckon. Just a embarrassment for me to drive people around when I can't get into gears without making a racket. "I thought this was a top-of-the-line import car?" me - "You'd think so for the money I've spent huh?" It's been my #1 beef with this car since I've owned it. Hoping for the best with TWM! (sorry for rant, just really irked me this morning)

doubt it,I have asked in the past and was told "sorry cant do it price is already low". Then they turn around and have a group buy on the EVOX forums for them.

that's because they just became an approved vendor over there and it was an introductory/celebratory promotion. plus it was a discount on everything in their catalog, not just the short shifter

a lot of people have the notchy grind feeling in 2nd or 3rd gear for the first couple thousand miles.. then it goes away. Mine went away at 9000 miles.. BUT I do have the occasional can't get into reverse no matter how hard I try.. **** me off but very rare.. happened probably 5-6 times total
