Ive done this mod to my car and the bolts will definitely hold up. Buy some high quality bolts and you wont have to worry about them. Its a fun project if you decide to do it yourself. Goodluck

Hardest part would be lining it up so the receiver and the bumper cover hole line up

Did you have to manufacture the bracket? Or does RRE provide it?

if im trying to do it myself, how deep does the drilling of the crash beam have to happen? And is it literally just lining up and drilling the two holes and using washers to align the mount?

It's not bad, the crash bar is hollow, although you have to drill three holes if I remember correctly. The center hole is needed so you can thread the tow hook through but I don't remember if there was one there that lined up as needed. I would recommend making and drilling a matching backing plate to put inside the crash beam as well.

Move Over Racing Makes one that installs to the stock crash beam. It's pretty sturdy.

For some reason the pictures aren't coming up but you can google that. I have the front and rear hooks and the quick release bumper connection. They are a great company. The red anodized quick release buttons faded a little after a year and they sent me new ones no questions asked.

Driven fab makes a replacement beam that saves 9lbs from the front of the car and has a mount for a JDM style tow hook.
