Matching Gauges

Hey guys. I'm planning on getting an X in the spring if all goes as planned until april-may.
I'm putting together a list of mods and other junk I want to buy once I get one.

I was wondering what brand/style of gauges are you guys using that best match the color and style of the OEM gauge cluster in the X? Also which ones are the most effective, reliable, and accurate? I'm looking to get a Boost, Wideband, and any other that would compliment my planned modifications.

As far as mods I plan on are:
In no specific order;
-Intake (AMS)
-FMIC w/Piping (AMS or ETS)
-Turbo-back exhaust (ETS)
-Tune, either I'll get a Buschur tune, since I live like 45 min away, or I'll just pick up an accessport.
-Boost Controller (unsure which)
-Meth

Any input/opinions are welcome, Thanks!

Im a big fan of the defi racer gauges if you put them in the middle of the dash they match the a/c control color.

Everything is amber (except the rpm/mph gauges).

Stack makes gauges that matches the tachometer.

I think the Defi Racer gauges look the most OEM.

If you get a 2010, the center display will be in color.

Thanks for the responses. Think I like the Prosport a little better, but the defi's are pretty close as well.
The Prosports have that silver trim around them which would go really well with the X's gauge style.

And yeah dude... close your hood.

Notice that all the gauges (so far) posted have a red needle? The STACK gauges match the stock ones exactly.

I have AEM gauges on a Perrin steering column mount and think theyre great. The red read-out matches the rest of the cars lighting pretty well, just not the tach / speedo.... You miss 0-2k rpms and 0-30mph with this particular mount, but who cares. AEM gauges are simple to install, easy to read, and extrememly reliable.

It really depends what year Evo are you getting. 2008 or 2010?

The 08s are amber in the center of the tach.

The 10s are blue and green all over.

Ah I didnt realize they changed the gauge colors in the 2010's, I just knew about the full color center display.

I'm going to look for a leftover 08.

Really no need for a Boost Controller. X's are controled by the ECU, IMO its best to leave them that way unless you plan on cranking the boost up with a aftermarket turbo
