Funny conversation with a cop.

I can't believe I passed on a perfect opportunity to pitch my idea to him for a event. My buddies an I started a company here in SD called stayclassy.org. We hold and encourage our users to throw events with a charity tied to it. The users get to decide which charity and how much of their ticket sales will go to the specified charity.
I'm moving back to Boston and will definitely try an do it out there, got a couple high school and college buddies who are cops now which will help. Ultimately I'd like to rent a track or a big parking lot for a day and have the local law enforcement show up with their undercover and regular cruisers. We then get a bunch of people with modified cars and pit the cops against us. Still working on the details but I'm thinking it will be a chase where each person gets to try an out run a cop on closed track. If the cop can get within X feet you're "pulled over". The money would of course get donated to the respective law offices. The cops get to practice their chase skills while we get to legally out run a cop.

That reminds me when I got pulled over with my Friend in his R34 GTT. That had a RB26 swapped into it.
Officer pulled us over because I think we where going a bit over the speed limit coming down a hill. We also made eye contact with him (he was coming up the hill) which you never do with a cop he flipped around and threw on his lights and will pulled over like normal. He walked up to the car kinda quickly and stopped at the back of the car for a sec then come forward and ask
Cop: Is that Race gas I smell? and is that a RB26 That I hear?
My Friend and I looked at each other like WTF?!?!
My Friend replied: Yes it is Office.
Cop: I Just Knew It. I have a Rb26 in my 240 at home.
Well long story short We pulled into a parking lot off the road and Talked about Skylines and Evos and Cars for about 15 min. Then he said he had to get going but said he would have to bring out his Car and Race sometime 
He was a Very cool Cop to say the least and See him around town still and wave at him

A bunch of my friends are cops and all gear heads as well... They say that they pull over cars all the time just to see what there running under the hood... lol its like a driving car show
Some cops are cool, i got pulled over once just so he can "check it out". He was like "wow that is a nice car, you ever put it in a car show?" I thought i was going to get a ticket for the limo tint I had.
i got pulled over the other day, was speeding on local, cops asked me how much my tires cost, yoko ad08, what kind of exhaust i am running, and asked me why i took a fast right turn trying to lose them, 20 mins later, found out they both drive a sti and let me go.

Back in 08 I got pulled over in Texas driving my RR MR doing 87 in a 70. I watched the cop through my mirror as he walked up. He rubbed something off of my wing, stared at my rims for a few seconds, walked up to the window and said "slow down" and walked back to his car.
