I was getting back into my car at a 7/11 and this cop was getting out of his cruiser. He came over an this is how the convo went;
Cop: Hey man, is that one of those EVO 10's??
Me: Sure is (as I start calculating in my head how much its going to cost me to remove my tint & TBE after he gives me a ticket).
Cop: Cool, you care if I take a look inside?
Me: By all means
Cop: (whips out his mag light) Man these are some nice seats, these come with the car?
Me: Yah its all stock except for the stereo
. You want to get in?
Cop: Nah man its cool, I got all my gear on. What this run you, 40k?
Me: Just over 30k, South Coast Mitsu has no joke over a 100 in their lot.
Cop: Oh really? I'm going to have go check em out. Man these things are pretty quick. My partner and I were in pursuit of one not to long ago. We saw him and we were getting ready to pull him over. He took a quick right and we followed right behind. He took another right and by the time we got to the corner he was gone! I mean out of sight, now where to be found.
Me: Hahaha yah they are pretty quick, can't beat the AWD.
Cop: Ohh these are AWD??
Me: Oh yah, definitely a cut above the rest. So did you end up catching him?
Cop: Nah, by the time the helicopter got there it was like he vanished into thin air.
Me: Haha, it wasn't white was it?? Just kidding!
Cop: Haha no your good, I gotta go. Thanks.
Me: Any time officer.

Fuggin X driver runnin from the cops.... Way to go, givin us law-abiding citizens in Evos a bad, bad name...
I've had a few good "run-ins" with the police regarding the X too. Deep down, they're all car guys too. lol

That reminds me when I got pulled over with my Friend in his R34 GTT. That had a RB26 swapped into it.
Officer pulled us over because I think we where going a bit over the speed limit coming down a hill. We also made eye contact with him (he was coming up the hill) which you never do with a cop
he flipped around and threw on his lights and will pulled over like normal. He walked up to the car kinda quickly and stopped at the back of the car for a sec then come forward and ask
Cop: Is that Race gas I smell? and is that a RB26 That I hear?
My Friend and I looked at each other like WTF?!?!
My Friend replied: Yes it is Office.
Cop: I Just Knew It. I have a Rb26 in my 240 at home.
Well long story short We pulled into a parking lot off the road and Talked about Skylines and Evos and Cars for about 15 min. Then he said he had to get going but said he would have to bring out his Car and Race sometime 
He was a Very cool Cop to say the least and See him around town still and wave at him
God I wish there where more Officers like him

It was awesome. We where so caught of guard when we here him say that.
He pulled me over right after I did the Photo shoot of my car To let me know that I didn't have my License Plate on when I was driving around town I took it off for the Pics and forgot to put it back on. I told him I had just done a photo shoot and had some super sick pics. He let me through it back on right there so I wouldn't get pulled over again by a less friendlier Officer 
He also made me promise to send him some pics when I got them back from the photographer and I ended up giving him a poster later on

I can't believe I passed on a perfect opportunity to pitch my idea to him for a event. My buddies an I started a company here in SD called stayclassy.org. We hold and encourage our users to throw events with a charity tied to it. The users get to decide which charity and how much of their ticket sales will go to the specified charity.
I'm moving back to Boston and will definitely try an do it out there, got a couple high school and college buddies who are cops now which will help. Ultimately I'd like to rent a track or a big parking lot for a day and have the local law enforcement show up with their undercover and regular cruisers. We then get a bunch of people with modified cars and pit the cops against us. Still working on the details but I'm thinking it will be a chase where each person gets to try an out run a cop on closed track. If the cop can get within X feet you're "pulled over". The money would of course get donated to the respective law offices. The cops get to practice their chase skills while we get to legally out run a cop.
That might be a little pricey first so I might just hold it at a go cart venue and do a cops an robbers where you get two people per kart. One drives while the others shoot paint *****. I'll let you guys know how it turns out

It was with Orlando In Utah and the Boise Idaho cops where dicks to me 
They pulled me over and had Reinforcements show up and surround me
There was 6 Cop cars from what I could see and 4 officers around my car. All to say that I cut across 4 lanes of traffic on a one way road to make a turn when there was no cars out at 1 am
Thats another funny Story for another day about my Trip to Boise
That is a cool idea. Racing around with cops on a track of closed course I would so do that

I would so do that Heh, reminds of this cop that lasers at this one street near me. If you have a Subaru WRX/STI that looks like you had something done to it, he'll pull you over and just talk to you because he's a Subie owner too. I hear funny stories from the Subie guys about him and to those that live around here, they're pretty annoyed by it by now.
