HKS CZ200S runs 57"261 @ Tsukuba!
Just thought I would share, but the official results are being reported from last months HyperMeeting 2010 @ Tsukuba Circuit in Japan -- the HKS Evo X CZ200S street class car ran a blistering 57"261 second lap time for day!
To put this in perspective, the CZ200S is more street car than full fledged track machine -- it still has a complete interior! To me this car represents the perfect street car, that can tear it up at the track when called upon. I'm really glad to see HKS pushing the envelope on the 4B11 motor as well, just imagine what the future holds for this platform as a whole!

Nice times! That orange Evo has some serious power. It was clearly stronger that the HKS Evo but the HKS always caught up on the braking or cornering. I'm guessing the orange Evo had street tires because they seemed to get greasy near the end of the race. It'd be nice to see a mod list for the HKS Evo. I'm curious to what they are running for a suspension, rear LSD, and brakes.

Okay, that makes sense now after watching the vid... they are running the Advan A050R tires. I thought this was done on Advan Neova AD08's, like when they ran a 59 Sec lap around Tsukuba. Nontheless, extremely impressive. I bet they will be stripping this car down, caging it and building it up from all the testing they are doing now. Those guys sure know how to build up a T/A car.
