2010 Evolution X MR Stock Tune for The 2008 MR?

Is it possible to get a 2010 stock Evo X MR tune for the 2008 Evo X MR? In recent
0-60 tests done they showed that the 2010 stock 0-60 was 4.5-4.8 while the 2008 stock was 4.8-5.2

I currently have a 2008 Evo X MR. All stock for now.

I'd like to get this tune for my car if available. Also it will probably be covered under the warranty right? I was thinking I could just go to the dealer for all the recalls to be done and mention the 2010 reprogramming too and maybe get it done along with everything else. You guys think it would work?

Thanks

I got +50 lbs torque and +30WHP just with a dropin filter & Tune. Just get the car tuned and you'll be happier.

2010 MR, has a different map, and they upgraded the TCU firmware.

You can ask for a re-flash to 2010 spec from the dealer...they'll probably stick it you and charge $100 for it, or you buy a Cobb AP and install their latest Stage 1 Flash...I'm not an expert but there may be a TSB for the new reflash due to the sluggish take off from 1st gear.

Our 2010 MR was bone stock and I ran Cobb AP Stg 1 for it and the car is night and day even compared to the factory 2010 reflash.

The 2010 tune is supposed to be better and thus the performance gains you see. I went to the dealer to try and get it done and they said they would charge me for it since it wasn't a "required" reflash... like if it was a recall/TSB, etc.

Just get your own custom tune or Cobb or something. That'll make a much bigger difference.

Thanks slot everyone for the feedback I think I'll just pay how much ever it is as long it isn't too expensive hopefully around $100 or so because I also noticed the 1rst gear take off being sluggish so I did some reasearch and they did a reprogramming for the sat because of that

This is the best idea. The Cobb Accessport includes a lot of off-the-shelf maps in case you don't have any good dyno-tuners in your area.
