first mods installed and Ivey tuned - 322 whp

Finally... Over the weekend I installed Perrin TBE with HFC, K&N Typhoon intake, and K&N UICP on my 2010 X GSR. Shout out to Frank @ ECMS for the parts!

The install was child's play...except for the darn downpipe. Getting it off was a hassle, and then installing the Perrin DP alone took over an hour. In hindsight we should have removed the heatshield first, oops

Anyway, the whole install took about 5-6 hours. Yesterday I went over to Sean Ivey for my tune. He was able to crank out 322 WHP and 322 TQ with 92 octane pump gas! Very impressive!

I have a feeling this is just the first of many mods to come. I'll post pics and the tune chart when I get a chance

^^Thats interesting, looks like you've got injectors and FMIC and making the same power. I'd like to see how much power gain upgrading my FMIC would yield

What mods would you guys suggest I make next?

I would say FMIC would be next, might as well do a LICP while your in there. Next would be injectors and fuel pump.

Test pipe - good for 15whp.

Then intercooler and lower intercooler pipe if you want. But probably won't get you a whole lot for the $800-$1,000 it costs for both.

I made 338whp at Ivey and I don't even have an intake or intercooler. Test pipe makes a difference.

You don't really have to bother with the licp, they're already solid stock for the X. It was an important upgrade for the VIII's and IX's, whereas the uicp for them was solid. I only changed mine out because I got a sweet deal from a friend on my licp.

For your next mod, I'd say go with an FMIC. Might as well through on a turbo inlet too for good measure.

The only problem with the test pipe is emissions. I live in PA so def wouldnt pass.

I need to scan my tune graph, I'll post it up soon.

Has anyone had any issues with the secondary o2 sensor fitment? It is jammed up against the side heatshield, and the wires are all bent. And I've got the P2252 low voltage CEL. Any ideas for a fix?

Thanks for everyone's replies, I'm loving the extra power my mods and tune have given me so far!

With my testpipe, when I bought it (used) it came with an adaptor on it so it wasnt so close to the tp/fumes. It doesn't throw a CEL for me. I think the guy I bought it from called it a 90-degree O2 bung adaptor but not 100% sure.

Great numbers.

Do you know if Ivey used Tephra V7 to tune also?

Hey thanks, I'm not too sure - Ivey would have to chime in here. I also had a bit of a boost leak, might be a bad vacuum line, so maybe the numbers may have been able to go a little higher?
