Congrats on the purchase of the MR... looks great.

What stands out to you as the biggest differences between your new and old car after driving the EVO MR for a bit?

The biggest difference that stands out so far is the interior, i can't believe how much of an upgrade it is from the ralliart. lol. Love the seats and sound system. Also the turbo feels better, more powerful. Love it. Can't wait to get an exhaust on it. I plan to do a resonated test pipe now and a catback exhaust, just figuring out which one I want...want to get one thats fairly cheap, most the ones i see are $600 and up.

For the HID bulbs on the projectors, what is the bulb size? I checked the manual and doesn't say and tried googling it and found it might be d2s. Just wanted to confirm that cause i'm going to order new bulbs.

Also anyone recommend an antenna to replace the tall ugly one? I did the shark fin for the ralliart and don't want to get that again. I found this, anyone have it?

The car looks great, congrats. I would go with the Perrin antenna. I have it and it fits great and the reception is perfect.

The HID bulbs are d2s right? And i was reading on some threads and stuff that changing the bulbs require removing bumper? seems extreme for changing bulbs.

Nice.. I'm about to trade in my RA as well.. step up with the big boys with an X.. is the difference in power/handling worth the step up? Thing about the RA I don't like is there is no aftermarket for it.. too niche and not enough RA owners.. we don't even have a front lip option... lmao

Already have a mod list made. Like I said above debadge part of trunk, ralliart tails, new hid bulbs and full exhaust/test pipe.

Next stage I plan is an intake and get a tune. Need to find the best place in San Antonio or around here to do it.

Then stage 3 is bronze rims/tires.
I would drive to cob in Plano.

Great upgrade. Nice to have a much higher baseline to build up from.

Did a few first "mods" for my car. Debadged the trunk partly and painted the side vents from rr to black. Also installed some leds in the interior and license plates. Nice white color.

First here's a pic before the mods I took at work yesterday. Thought it looked like a nice pic:

Here's pics of the painted side vents and trunk:

Now for a big question. I"ve been researching like crazy for an exhaust since i'm in a huge hurry to get one as I hate how quiet the car is stock lol. At first I was looking at some dual exhausts like the invidia q300 or hks hipower but not liking the burnt tips. Then saw the ams single exhaust and seem to like it. But i'm not sure about doing single on our cars with the hole on the other side of diffuser and part of me thinks it looks kinda ricey. Any one with experience or knowledge with the ams?
A video i watched on youtube of it sounded nice, kinda loud at times though. I want one thats stainless steel and full 3" to the cat. I plan to buy a test pipe later on. Thanks for the opinions in advance!

Check out the magnaflow catback. It can be had for very cheap but it's main drawback is that it necks down at the cat. A lot of shops or even a basic muffler shop can weld on a 3" flange for about $50 and then you're in good shape. Add a cheap/quality testpipe (I have a Megan, love it), and you'll have a nice, throaty exhaust that's very nice to daily drive and very nice on the wallet.

Well I ended up getting an ams single catback exhaust. Liked how it sounded and promising gains from it.

I also came out of work today and saw my 2 side vents were gone! 2 days after painting them. My guess is someone(s) stole them. I work at a target so its just parked in the parking lot. Be a weird coincidence if they both fell off...

So either way i'm gonna order some carbon fiber ones and maybe some other goodies. Springs or more cf stuff like hood vents and the middle vent of the hood.
