stopped to get gas this morning

My gas light was yelling at me so i stopped to get gas on the way to work. I get out and noticed the price is at 3.89 per gallon. I almost cried lol. If this is going to continue to go up, I'm goin to have to force myself to take the beater to work. i HATE driving that thing lol. but it gets double the gas milage, so i might be forced to. almost costing 50$ to fill up the evo now. sad day

yea driving the beater 2001 jetta gls is such a struggle. it gets almost 30 mpg though. its so slow...cant handle.... just so hard to get into my jetta in the morning when the evo is sitting there. but 50$ per tank full is getting pretty bad. i hope these prices dont reach 5$

that is one reason im running on pump . when i was running on race gas, forget the availability every single time before and during races, the money we spend in 2 days and over 400 miles in the car was ridiculous.
I always have to find a balance in the budget , and the race gas is not an option, if you think about the pros vs cons.
But also my car is not tuned to be fuel efficient in mind by any means... LOL
It is ridiculous how much its drinks on stages.

I've only owned my evo for a month so I'm still constantly driving under boost. Feels like Im spending $100 / week on gas

Are you guys seeing better mpg after you get your car tuned? Being the car runs super rich from the factory, can I hope to see better mileage... Fingers crossed

I know... SoCal gas prices are ridiculous.

Both my cars require premium. FML.

But then again, I work from home. So, I guess it's not that bad.
