That doesnt make any sense... People who have 110 would have to gas up every 2 miles....Its 100-110 where I am, and has been for a while and I am still getting 20ish mpg. Call up mitsu and talk to a DIFFERENT rep. Getting 10 MPG is horse**** man.

somethign is definitely wrong. i have 9400 miles and i just filled my car today and was able to get 301.5 and there was still a bar left on the gas gauge. it took 12.396 gallons to fill her up. wheather here is pretty much the same in boston. i have a gsr though.

At this point, the only thing I can suggest is getting a tune, or keep *****ing at mitsubishi.

An exhaust leak before the front O2 sensor, any boost leaks (brand new evo's can easily have one), and/or bad front O2 sensor can all lead to extremely poor gas mileage.

OP I hope you get your problem sorted out.

If you are having an issue on gasoline, you are going to have the same issue with E85. The fuel isn't your problem, it's the car. You could always have us go through the car for you and fix the issue and send the bill to Mitsu you are like 40 minutes away from us too.

I hope you get it all figured out, but as people were saying before there is definitely something wrong. I have a 11 GSR and even during this hot summer in Vegas blasting my A/C every time i drive i still get around 240-260 when then the light shows up, shifting around 2500-3000 or between 3,000-4000 mixed city and freeway. I have around 7700 miles now. I have every single gas recipe too. I even write down the mileage on the receipt. The only mod i have installed atm that has been on for a month now is my Greddy ti-C Turboback.

I live in Boston and got an epic amount out of my first tank... Dealer fill (cheap gas) so I figured I'd keep it completely out of boost. I was pleasantly surprised to say the least. I havent been able to recreate it in my short 1k miles since buying it but I half attribute that to my proper gas and such!
