Girl had a Change of Heart.

Wifey had a small accident in her Maxima about a week ago when a Ford Escord rear ended her while waiting to make a right turn. Her car is currently in a body shop getting repaired. Since then, the only way for us to get to work on time is for her to drive me to work, then pick me up afterwards. To tell you the truth, i wasn't really happy about that.

After about a week of her driving the Evo, she absolutely loves the car. She takes back everything bad she had ever said about spending money on the car for parts, carbon, wheels, etc haha. She texts me one day while at work with "can we trade the Maxima once we get it back for a blue one? (mines white btw) lol.

Now it seems like were going to have 2 Evo's in our garage.

Success.

Nice! Mine still doesn't get "it" and dislikes the spending and that's how I make a living. I have tried to let her drive but her 5speed skills are seriously lacking and the power scares her even when I'm driving.

5 Speed GSR

She hated my car before she drove it - i always explained how fun it was to drive the evo and would criticize me whenever i would get on the throttle. I was laughing so hard when she accelerated really quick to pass a car, she looked at me with the biggest smile .

My wife is always talking crap about my car. If I had an MR I would let her drive it though. I know for a fact she would fall in love with the EVO

Maybe you should let her drive the GSR on an open road - let her rip!

She doesn't really know how to drive a manual transmission car. Not sure if I want her to learn with the Evo

lol my girl friend has used my car a few times for work.. Needless to say.. she quite enjoys the car. heck ive even let her drive it on the road course a few times. She keeps talking about what to buy when her suv is paid for.. i have a feeling it will either be a car similar to an evo or possibly what ever the newest version of the Z comes out with. forget babys.. smallish house with a 4 car garage!

Lucky. I may have to teach my girl how to drive it this weekend which scares the crap out of me. Mine is a GSR and she has driven a stick maybe 15 years ago, but still, I am worried about her driving my car period, and it being a stick is even scarier. I can smell the clutch burning now and I can feel the gears grinding.
