Vacuum once a month maybe... I keep it very clean inside plus I have weathertech mats.

I wash the car every weekend, depending on the weather.. Ei: below 40 or raining I dont touch it. Whenever I wash the car I take out the weathertech mats out and pressure wash them real fast and let it dry.

I wax, I would say every 3 times I wash the car. Depending on how much wax is left.

I wash, polish and wax every week. Polishing is hard but makes the car shiny!

You don't actually polish weekly - as in using a buffer - do you?

That's pretty cool. Just looked them up and its pretty expensive but worth it if you go twice a week.

I'd go every day

Do you guys use anything besides soap and water to get the brake dust off?
My car went unwashed for ~4 months, and the front rims are a whole new color.

i pre-rinse the car then spray wheels liberally with simple green and let it stand while i soap the rest of the car. it helps make the brake dust easier to remove but you still need to hit it a brush/sponge.

There's no such thing as a spray-on/hose-off wheel cleaner that actually removes all the brake dust. That only works on television. There's always a brush involved. In terms of products, ARC (Meguiars sells the industry standard) is typically what's used. Simple Green is an APC, too, albeit not 100% safe for all finishes and less effective. Allowing undiluted APC to sit on the wheels for the duration of a wash is really not a great idea, as is having to use a cleaner every time. If the wheels and calipers are well-protected with a very durable high-temp tolerant LSP - like FinishKare 1000P or better any of the semi-permanent coatings - then only soap and water are required. A bush, too. The brush never leaves the scene.

I take mine to the brushless car wash once a week and buff the car afterwards. Do a claybar job every three months with a nice coating of Collinite insulator wax.
