RCA inputs in SSS Evo x?

Hi EvolutionM, I'm a new owner of a 2012 Evo with the SSS package. I just want to know where the RCA inputs would be located? I think I see a cover in the little cubby but when I pop it open it's empty. Basically, I want to know if I got gypped somehow, like the dealer put in the rockfords and sub and called it SSS, or something else. Thank you.

in my 11' GSR SSS + SL the RCA inputs are in the top cubby of the two. I looked for a pic, but I don't have one

But yeah right side of that top cubby one you open the cover of it. When you plug something in, you'll find it listed to your headunit as "AUX"

Thanks for the info. I'm going to check if it's there. If not do you think that the dealership probably put in the stereo to raise the price of the car?

If you have the fast key, then it came with it from the factory.

I believe it was removed for the '12s. I had an '11 with SS package and the rca input was there. My 2012 with SS package does not have the input.

if it makes you feel any better, the bluetooth works so well I only use the RCA input on trips when I want my phone to work for phone calls and my wife wants to listen to music on her iPad.

You'll probably never really miss it

Only comes with the Sunroof and Leather package in the 2012's. If I remember correctly, when I changed my center console to the cubbies, there was a wire just hanging in the back not connected to anything. You might be able to buy the RCA jacks from Mitsubishi and connect that plug to hook it up.

Don't quote me on that though, I have no idea what that plug does.

Bluetooth sounds good to me. Only reason I needed RCA was because I don't have an Ipod, but an MP3 player. The USB didn't seem to work well, but the MP3 has bluetooth, so I'll go try that.

when I stream music from my phone I do it with bluetooth and it works well, however I bought a 16GB thumbdrive for like $15 bucks on sale, and it works great in the USB port.

Is it easy to navigate through the folders if you don't have Navi? I didn't get to try it yet, but figured it would be somewhat of a pain.
