Hood, trunk lid, front quarter panels and roof were a lost cause and were replaced. Rear quarters were saved using PDR as well as the doors. Doors only had small dents by the silver window trim. No bondo used.
Almost 2 months and still waiting...............

Stopped by after work today. Looks like things are almost done. Trunk lid will need some work for sure. The wells for the lights are too shallow and the lights don't fit all the way in. They said they could fix it but it would take them 3 more weeks before they can get it done. I told them no dice. I'll fix it in 3 hours. Well, I know it won't take me 3 weeks.

Ready for a serious detailing. Looks like the hood may need some adjusting too after seeing it in the sunlight.

It's been a long 2 months that's for sure.

Some PDR was done but most of the damaged parts were replaced.
Looks good man. Happy for ya and envious. I really miss my car. While following your ordeal i was really hoping i would not have the same kind of issues. No such luck though
I received a phone call this morning from the body shop informing me our car had been hit by ANOTHER F'ing hail storm!!! FML what are the chances of that?! The dumbass receptionist is the one who called me and said the hood, trunk, and roof and all panels on the driver side were affected. I dropped everything I was doing and drove straight to the shop to inspect. The CF roof and trunk had not been installed yet *relieved sigh* and no damage to the hood beyond all the sh!tty manufacturing defects (the last chapter of that story has yet to be written) The car had just come back from PDR though, now it has to be redone. Already made one car payment while its been in the shop, that SUX, sure hope I dont have to make 2 lol
BTW shaved front emblem looks nice! I may have to do the same.

Good god dude! What are the chances?!?! Glad the roof and trunk were'nt installed yet.
Shaved front emblem cost about 250 bucks. I raised so much hell because it took them forever to get my car done that they didn't charge me. There were about 4 days that I would drive by and see my car sitting there, in the same damn spot. Their excuse was that they have to pull cars out so they can get cars in that they are working on. Ummm, ok. I asked "You guys are working on my car right? Then why the hell are your putting my car outside to work on another that came in after mine did!"

Definitely think you could have picked a better shop. No excuse for how long you waited. I remember my Evo was wrecked around the same time as your hail damage. The shop mine went to screwed up on the paint and a couple of other things. I had to take it back three times. And I still got my car back well before you did. They definitely put your car on the back burner.
